And you would like to implement this into Music Show?

Oh and I know how you guys LOVE questions... So here it is. Where are the position codes for the Volume and play/pause controls hidden. I know most of it is in the normal xml but I can't seem to move the stationary PNG. I was planning on relocating them to the left side to better go with the backgrounds I have been creating.

the

<layer id="VolumeAnim" image="dominator.normal.Volume" ALPHA="120" x="537" y="396" move="0" rectrgn="0"
in the player-normal.xml

Jikaru really like what you have done there. Maybe we can make a working model of this.

hey quad, check svn for musicshow. i've updated playlistPlus, mousewheel support is now added.

i think what MerTcan mean is that the reflection should not show what's on the cd's "back". :)

hmm, is the whole group for the reflection got alpha then?
I thought when we did it, the cdcase had none which would then block out any background noise

then it was just the gradient that filtered over the top

Yea I agree, but theres not much you can do about it other than make the top album art transparent too, or you have to have a layer behind the album art on the bottom OR if you could do like a mask thing like in photoshop and have a gradient from bottom to top of reflection area it could pull it off...

Edit: If you could do a layer mask effect in winamp it would be a special plug-in-esque feature. <--Hard to explain.

we already tried gradient masks in ther, you can do with natively in winamp without images, the code is prolly still in there, the idea was to have the whole reflection group solid and put the gradient mask over it

tweaks have been done to it since we did that stage

perhaps in the background maker proggy it could place a layer on top where the cd reflection is as an option to embed into the end background pic?
after all the cd aint going anywhere heh and it will, although if the reflection is semi transparent atm it not gonna work well

in the proggy it wont be too much of a problem but then what determines the color of the space the album art fills in the background cause it cant just be black, and also im still in need of help fixing some major issues in the proggy which i can't fix on my own...also i was thinking about making it a java app or something a little more lenient and If i got my info straight I might be able to dynamically update the musicshow background straight from the app if I did it over in java, but thats for future stuff...

I'm having a prob with music show both versions. I upgraded to latest version of winamp 5.541, and now music show crashes every time I try to use it.
