or keep the volume where it is now and move the playback button to the left again (will be easier skin-able later). Doing so you could also enlarge the beatviz to the full height of the 'display'. This might be unused for this skin but other might want a bigger anim

sure, but than we would have another skinning engine running besides the Wasabi one. And i have no idea if this is a good idea what we could do of course is a converter for Xion to Flex. But i would use the already existing psd2wal then (i guess the source is somewhere available on the nullsoft server). Nevertheless - as always - time is the most limiting factor for me So i need to finish off flex 1st, then we could look into something else...
well, i would need to write a skinning engine in C++ that runs besides Wasabi/gen_ff this doesn't sound like a good idea It's easier to use the existing engine and having you designers to just extract images (because it is really just that)
i can just advise to try as much on your own as possible Xion is pretty easy to do. nevertheless it does not feature an equalizer imho. btw, the design looks cool
