Shade mode

I use it almost all of the time. I usually have so many widows open on my screens that I keep it tucked up in the upper right hand corner of monitor #2. I have an extensive music libary and always have something playing...winamp is always open. If I need to do anything unusual, I will open to the full window, but it always goes back to shade mode.

I use shade mode on occasion I keep it mostly at the top of my screen when im browsing and I keep it lowered when im designing.

I have hotkey buttons on my keyboard that change songs so I rarely actually see the media player unless I use shademode, so i think its rather important. And one of the easiest things to skin in a theme.

Hmm... Well what if we had it bound to the bottom of the user's screen, and give the user the ability to move it left and right - and have the 'always on top' feature on when you turn that shademode on.

To make a toolbar (like WMP, if that is what you mean) you would need to hard-code it to the skin engine. I don't think Winamp/modern skin engine development team would be just be giving away the source.

@transistor09: Ah, ok, fair enough. @Spannerz: Agreed that would be useful.
